Dear Families,

The first weeks of school have flown by!  We had a visitor this week from a nearby Montessori school who was amazed by the level of work the children are engaged in so early in the year.  It is just wonderful to see the joy with which the children learn and grow here.

Tornado Drill

The children did a great job with a tornado drill yesterday.  This will be the last tornado drill we complete until April.

Arrival and Dismissal

Our arrival and dismissal process has gone pretty smoothly this year, but there is always room for improvement!  Please remember that if you would like to park and walk in, you *must* park in a parking space or past the cones.  Do not park between the cones or in front of parked cars.  We ask that if you are going to use the car line, please stay in the line and do not pull in front of other cars unless invited by a staff member.

Cornerstone is a sugar-free and nut-free school.  Please refrain from sending your child with processed foods and foods containing refined sugar.

Upcoming Events

photographer will be in our environments this coming week.  We will only publish photos of children for whom we have permission; if you have not returned your photo permission form, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Our next Cornerstone Cafe is October 11 at 8:30am.  Jess Goff, lead guide in Marsh, will join us!

Have a great weekend,
