Dear Families,

Our site visit with the University of St. Thomas on Monday was a great success!  They were, of course, impressed with our children and guides, and loved seeing the children at work.  We are so lucky to be a part of a community that believes in children as much as we do.

Cornerstone Cafe

Our November Cornerstone Cafe is next Friday, November 8!  Please join us 8:30-9:30 for coffee and presentations from the children.  Pond Guide Kes’ava Dernovsek will also join us.

Filming at CMES

Alison Awes, Director of Elementary Training at the Montessori Center of Minnesota, will be filming here next week to support her AMI Refresher Course presentation on the elementary classroom.  The filming will be as non-disruptive as possible.  Permission slips to release footage of children included will be distributed to families shortly.  We appreciate your conscientiousness in returning them.

CMES Lottery

Open enrollment for Cornerstone Elementary begins today!  We will accept applications through November for our lottery on December 10.  If you have friends, family, neighbors, or children of your own who are 5 years or older on September 1, please turn in your application.  We would love to talk with your communities about the opportunities here at Cornerstone! Click here for a copy of the application.

Parent Partnership

On November 18 our guides will share about the importance of Social Relationships in children’s development.  We encourage all families to join us for this conversation.  Children will be given dinner during the presentation.  Please RSVP to Daylin if you would like to attend.  The event will take place 5:30-6:30.

Give to the Max

Give to the Max Day is coming up on November 14.  Your gift to CMES helps support the high quality Montessori education we provide to your children every day. Please click here to donate!

Have a great weekend,

Alyssa
