Dear Families,

It’s been a busy week at Cornerstone!  The filming in the elementary environments went beautifully - we thank you for returning your permission slips so that our work can be shared with AMI teachers elsewhere.

Parent Partnership

Please RSVP to Daylin for our Parent Partnership event on November 18 at 5:30pm.  Children will receive dinner during childcare, while adults hear from the guides on Social Relationships.  That night will also be our annual Upper Elementary Middle School Options/Alumni Reunion Event, which will take place immediately following the PPE, from 6:30-7:30. This is a chance for current Upper Elementary children and their families to talk to our graduates and their families about the importance of the "Third Year" of development in the Upper Elementary cycle of learning, the transition from Cornerstone, and their experiences at their new schools. Childcare will be provided until 7:00pm for siblings.  Please RSVP to Jess and Mara for this portion of the evening.

Winter Clothes

While the calendar says fall, it feels like winter.  Children must wear gloves, hats, snow pants, and a winter coat when the temperature is below 32 degrees.  We ask that you label your child’s clothes as well.  Thank you for ensuring your child is properly dressed for the weather, and please let us know if you need help procuring any items.

5th Grade Capitol Visit

The 5th graders in Marsh and Forest will visit the State Capitol on Wednesday!  This is always a wonderful experience for the children.  Permission slips have been sent home - we look forward to seeing them returned soon.

Have a wonderful weekend,
