Dear Families,

With exactly four more weeks of distance learning ahead of us, the staff have created packets of materials tailored to each child’s needs.  These packets will be available for pickup Monday, May 11, between 10:00 and 3:00, and Tuesday, May 12, 9:00-3:30.  We do ask that if you are able to come collect your child’s packets, you do so on one of those two days.  At the moment, access to Cornerstone is restricted to employees.  Please call when you are outside and a staff member will bring out your packet.  Thank you for your assistance with this process!

School Survey

Thank you to the many of you who have completed Cornerstone’s annual school survey.  The survey link, which you should have received last week, will close this Tuesday, May 12.  Your feedback is so useful to us as we plan for next year.  If you cannot find the link, please let us know.

Summer Elementary Opportunity

Our friends at White Bear Montessori School are offering a summer program for elementary children this year.  This day camp will be held primarily outdoors and use a nature-based curriculum through Project Learning Tree.  Registration is open to all children in 1-4th grades in the 2019-2020 school year. Consider this as an alternative to large day camp programs or to other camps that have closed. See the registration form provided for more details or email with questions!

Meals for All Children

We continue to order meals weekly for all children under the age of 18.  If you would like to pick up a box of 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 10 cartons of milk for your child(ren), please let Chris or me know by Tuesday morning.  Meals will be available for pickup between 11am and 1pm each Monday; your child will receive these meals until otherwise indicated.

Have a good weekend,
