Dear Families,

It’s hard to believe we have just three weeks left in the school year.  As we prepare to wrap up a most eventful year, our attention remains on what is best for the children.  Distance learning has been ideal for only a very few, and yet the daily class collectives brim with children eager to share their thoughts and their work.  We know there are many questions about what will come in the next few months, and look forward to working alongside you to support your children and your families as best we can.

Intents to return

While this year is not ending as we’d hoped, and we do not know what this fall will bring, we are nonetheless planning for a new school year!  For children who are enrolled in CMES (K-5th), we ask that you let us know your plans for returning by clicking here or emailing Chris or Alyssa.

Board Elections/Annual Meeting

The CMES Board of Directors will be holding elections this Tuesday between 4:45 and 5:30.  All CMES parents and staff are invited to come vote!  Please let us know if you need the meeting link.  Our Annual Meeting will take place at 5:30 on Tuesday.  Click here to join.

Emergency Assistance

Ramsey County is offering financial assistance for families to pay rent/mortgage and utilities bills.  Please click here for more information or call 651-266-3800 for assistance in English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali.

Early Childhood Resources

For those of you with young children at home, this website has a number of useful resources for supporting your own wellbeing during this time and for answering questions your child may have about the changing world they live in.

We look forward to sharing with you plans for the end of year rituals that are so meaningful to our community.  Stay tuned!

Have a good weekend,
