Conferences
You received an email yesterday about conferences. They are next Thursday/Friday and there is no school those days. If you haven’t yet signed up for your conference, please do so at myconferencetime.com/mtcm. If you would like to bring food for the staff, you can sign up for that here.
Halloween
This Monday, aka Halloween, is a normal day at Cornerstone. Please keep costumes and candy at home. Thank you!
Office Hours
As part of our commitment to increasing communication between school and home, we will be offering “office hours” with our teachers this year. Before Cornerstone Cafe each month, a different guide/specialist will be present at 8:00 to talk with families. This will be an opportunity to get to know the teachers and learn more about their work with your children; it is not a time to ask specific questions about your child’s progress or development. Our first participant will be Molly McDermott, CH2 guide, on November 11.
Parent Observations
After more than 2 years without observers, we are so excited to welcome you into our environments! Observations will take place during the morning work cycle, on Wednesday mornings. Please click here to sign up. If Wednesday mornings do not work for your schedule, please contact me directly to find an alternative time. Because spots are limited and to avoid overwhelming the classrooms, we ask that only one parent attend at a time (you may split your slot if you’d like) and that you please allow other parents to sign up before inviting grandparents or other family members. Recommendations for having a successful observation will be sent to you prior to your scheduled visit.
Child Tax Credit
Families who meet certain income eligibility are able to claim the expanded Child Tax Credit until November 15 and can also request their third stimulus check if not previously received. Click here to file for the additional payments and please let us know if you have any questions.

Horas de oficina

¡Después de más de 2 años sin observadores, estamos muy emocionados de recibirlos en nuestros entornos! Debido a que los lugares son limitados y para evitar abrumar las aulas, le pedimos que solo asista un padre a la vez (puede dividir su espacio si lo desea) y que permita que otros padres se registren antes de invitar a los abuelos u otros miembros de la familia. . Se le enviarán recomendaciones para tener una observación exitosa antes de su visita programada.
Crédito tributario por hijos
Las familias que cumplen con cierta elegibilidad de ingresos pueden reclamar el Crédito Tributario por Hijo ampliado hasta el 15 de noviembre y también pueden solicitar su tercer cheque de estímulo si no lo recibieron previamente.
