Special Education Paraprofessional

Assist elementary aged children with special needs in a Montessori classroom. Essential functions of the position include assisting with and delivering effective instruction specific to the Individualized Educational Program of children with special needs, specifically fulfilling paraprofessional requirements of the IEP. The qualified candidate will adhere to state and federal guidelines on delivery of instruction and compliance, communicating effectively with students and colleagues.

ADSIS Math Specialist

Plans and develops, under the guidance of Administration, instructional materials, lessons, and other activities to support Cornerstone’s goals and objectives in accordance with the mission statement. The ADSIS Math Specialist is responsible for providing Tier 2 interventions to children who require additional mathematics support, so that they have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth. The Specialist evaluates the needs and abilities of students in grades 2-6, using an assessment tool determined with Administration, and develops/utilizes curricula to best present and provide instruction to children. The Specialist assures children show continuous improvement in learning basics and essential skills and completes necessary data collection and reporting.

School Social Worker

Plans and develops, under the guidance of Administration, instructional materials, lessons, and other activities to support Cornerstone’s goals and objectives in accordance with the mission statement. The Licensed Social Worker is responsible for providing Tier 2 interventions to children who require additional social-emotional or behavioral support, so that they have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth; provides School-Based Mental Health support to children who need 1:1 time with a qualified therapist; and works with families to offer resources and parenting support, as needed.
